This is an overview of safe celebrating strategies discussed by the DVD characters to help prevent serious injury while celebrating. The key theme is the importance of having a safe celebrating plan + student activity sheet + suggested responses. |

Negative Peer Influence - Youthsafe Presents
This session explores the different forms of negative peer influence experienced by the DVD characters. It uses character scenario activity sheets and the Youthsafe Presents comic strips to demonstrate strategies the characters can use to put their safe celebrating strategies into action.

Adult / Youth Agreements
One of the simplest ways for young people to stay safe while celebrating is to have a back-up plan organised with a responsible adult. A range of sample adult / youth safe celebrating agreements are included, with tips on how to create and personalise a negotiated agreement. |
